Andy and Christye are both from Texas and met in high school. After graduation Andy enlisted in the Marine Corp Reserve. Andy went to Lincoln Tech and studied to become a Diesel Mechanic. Christye and Andy continued to attend the same church and were married in 1990. They have both been involved in short-term missions, work and have served the church in various ministries. In 1998, Andy sought a career change and was hired by the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department and began work as a Confinement Officer. About this time, they joined Fort Worth Presbyterian Church. He and Christye continued to use vacation time for short term mission trips each summer. Andy, desiring to use his mechanical skills, has learned how to drill wells by hand. The technique he learned is the Water For All International method, a low-tech method that can be taught in almost any country in the world.
Our role is to teach this method of drilling wells to churches in the Global South. Pray with us as we work to provide sufficient drinking water and training for the global church to offer cup of water in Christ’s name.
“And you will draw water from the wells of salvation in joy,” Isaiah 12:3.
