We, D&R, are living miracles of God’s grace. Apart from Him, we are but dry bones that would rather live a life of comfort. Usually, comfort comes at the expense of others. Thankfully, this is not what God intended for any of us. The further we travel on our walk of faith, the more we recognize our need for our Savior, to restore flesh to our bones, that we would become more like Christ. Our story is not unique but it declares God’s sacred hand, restoring the souls of those He fore-loved. The work He began, He will also bring to glorious completion.

Back in college, we both experienced a desire to go and serve the global church. Our hope was to journey with families and communities that were least likely to have access to the Gospel. Fifteen years later, despite countless detours, roadblocks, and divine appointments, the Lord has opened doors to engage in transformational ministry overseas. We are delighted!

Together, we have been trained in theology, biblical counseling, spiritual formation, horticulture, business management, and elementary education. We have enjoyed living internationally and are fluent in French and Spanish. As a family, we enjoy gardening, raising chickens, singing, cooking, hiking, swimming and eating lots of ice cream.
