Our Story

God has given me (Danny) the passion to serve the underprivileged and empower leaders. I started my ministry serving as a pastor of a small church along the railway tracks of Manila, Philippines. God eventually opened up an opportunity for me to be part of a church multiplication movement among the urban poor communities in the Philippines. By God’s grace I have witnessed individual and community transformation through Biblical discipleship and mentoring leaders.

My wife Josie was serving as a missionary in the Philippines when we first met. God called us together in marriage and to minister together in training local leaders in the church multiplication movement while serving in the Philippines. Now with two kids, following the Great Commission of Jesus to make disciples continues to be our calling.

In 2011, God called us into a creative mission platform. We have continued to serve the underprivileged in Southeast Asia and Southern Africa doing holistic ministry. God has allowed us to mentor and disciple leaders from different cultural backgrounds and ethnicities.

Our Role

Same God, same calling, but different adventure. Discipleship and mentoring local leaders in another Southern African country will be our role with Equipping Leadership International. Danny will serve as adjunct faculty staff and is excited to be part of implementing ELI for the first time in this country. Josie will be working with an international development organization that combats poverty and promotes resilience.
