Julie and her husband Eric have been married for 26 years and have been blessed with a houseful of children. They attend a Bible teaching church where Julie enjoys serving in the Children’s Ministry and the outreach ESL class.

Julie has a BA in business administration, a MAT in elementary education , and Reading Specialist certification and is working on her ESL certification. She taught for over 10 years in public schools and is currently homeschooling their children.Eric has owned and operated an electrical contracting business since 1993.

Eric travelled to Liberia to work on school and orphanage projects where he met Pastor Titus Davis. As their relationship grew, it became apparent that Julie, Eric, and Titus had a shared vision and passion to meet communities’ need for education and the Gospel. Julie has been able to travel to Liberia and work with teachers in the area of literacy training. It was through Pastor Titus as well, that Eric and Julie met Chuck McArthur and became familiar with the work of ELI.

Eric and Julie have enjoyed serving God together using Eric’s construction skills and Julie’s education background to meet people’s tangible needs, help develop their education, and deliver the truth of God’s Grace.
