A native of Texas, Jerry graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a degree in theology and biblical studies. He has been involved in cross-cultural ministry for most of his life, going back to his most formative years. Jerry has formally served in cross-cultural missions since 2001, as the Senior Director of Missions and Church Planting at Park Cities Presbyterian, and the Global Mobilization and Western Hub Director at Mission to the World. In these contexts, Jerry developed two strategic training programs, Advancing in Missions and Thrive, to help American churches become catalysts for missions sending. He has taken a variety of seminary and post graduate courses to sharpen his knowledge. However, it is his cross-cultural relationships that have taught him the most. Jerry hopes all of this will benefit him in his role.
After more than 23 years in cross-cultural ministry leadership, Jerry is convinced we are in the midst of a new age in global missions. Jerry longs to see a true realization of the equipped and empowered global church from every nation taking the gospel to every nation.
Jerry has been married to Kerry for 25+ years. They have two daughters, Lily and Jade, who bring them much joy!
