John and Ginny grew up in Christian homes—John in a small North Carolina town where his dad was the local PCA pastor and Ginny in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she attended Westminster Academy and Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church.

John graduated from Appalachian State University where he studied vocal music. He earned a Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary where he also served as Director of Admissions. Ginny graduated from the University of Florida and earned an M.A. in Political Thought from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England, and an M.A. in Communications from Regent University. After college, Ginny interned with and was mentored by author and apologist Os Guinness. John recently graduated from Nashotah House Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry degree. His dissertation is entitled Come to the Table: Feasting on the Atonement.

John served as a pastor and church planter in the PCA for 13 years in TN, PA, and FL, and then as an Episcopal priest in the Diocese of Central Florida for six years.

Ginny is an accomplished writer, director, and Emmy-winning producer. Her clients include Life Focus Television, Bible Study Media, and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

John and Ginny met in 2020 and were married in 2021. One of their prayers was to be able to do ministry together. They are excited about their new work with ELI! They share a passion for helping people understand the gospel and grow in their faith.

John and Ginny enjoy biking and reading together, and especially riding John’s motorcycle!

John will serve as a full-time faculty instructor with ELI, eventually taking responsibility for one of ELI’s new partnership. Ginny will use her talents, as opportunity allows, to participate with John and help tell the powerful visual stories of ELI’s growing ministry.
