Ron was raised with eight children in a missionary family on the Navajo reservation in Northwest New Mexico. Ron comes from a family of men called to pastoral ministry, including his father, son and two brothers, which has given him a heart to support and equip pastors and leaders around the world. His other roles have included serving in an administrative and teaching capacity for many years for a seminary, and working as the Dean of Students for a Christian school. Both of these roles have furthered his love for people of all backgrounds, and impressed on him the need for support and development of Biblical leaders.

Ron has been supported in ministry by his wife Beth throughout their 40 years of marriage. Beth plays piano at the church, leads women’s Bible studies, and disciples women in the community. Together they enjoy weekend walks by the river, watching sports, grilling and family time. Ron and Beth have three adult children, two daughters-in-law, and four adorable grandchildren.

As Ron looks toward retirement, he sees working with pastors and leaders in ELI as a great way to use the gifts that God has given him.
