Steve and Terri came to faith in Christ and were married in 1982. They settled in Fort Worth in 1994. Steve was ordained a Ruling Elder at Fort Worth Presbyterian in 1996 and, became the Director of Operations in 2004. Over the years, Steve led multiple mission teams on three continents in five countries. They now have three grown children and six grandchildren.

In 2019 Steve attended a prayer conference where he was overwhelmed by the love of the Father for him. At the same time, he was introduced to ELI. As his heart for prayer and missions continued to grow, he could not shake the unmistakable call of his Father to serve full-time in missions. He began to speak with Terri about this in the fall of 2022. While serving on multiple projects with ELI, he learned about

the work and great need to train under-resourced pastors and leaders in South Asia. This confirmed his call to use his gifts to serve with Equipping Leaders International. 

Steve will serve as the Timothy Coordinator for South Asia.

– assisting National partners in vision, resources, and record keeping

– keeping track of Timothy building progress for each partner

– overall project tracking for Timothy’s, training, and church planting

– in person and video-based trainings.
