I am an ordained minister of Word and Sacraments with the Reformed Church in Zambia. I am married to Brenda Phiri, and God has blessed us with five Children. As an ELI faculty member, I am keen to enhance ministry in Zambia among evangelists and laypersons who have had no formal theological training. My vision is to contribute to the Strategic Plan of the Reformed Church in Zambia to spread across the country sound, trained missionaries to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I began as a Zambia partner and full faculty member mobilizing church leaders to undergo the ELI Timothy trainings in the Eastern and Central Regions of Zambia respectively.

The Timothy group in Chipata has attracted 24 very devoted brothers and sisters who are keen to learn the new method of outreach. The last trainings we had had since the group was initiated, recorded a 100% attendance, which has excited me a lot. The second group initiated in Kabwe Central Province has a total of 30 participants. We have done the initial training, and in November 2024 we will start the actual courses. I am so excited with how ELI ministry is unfolding in Zambia, and I have no doubt that, prayerfully, the Lord will grant us grace to cover the whole country of Zambia. The ELI fire has started burning.
