Special Projects

As ELI has been involved in training pastors, we naturally encounter many more needs and opportunities for ministry with our national pastors and ministry partners. Here are some projects that God has led us into that have helped us better serve our brothers and sisters in the Global South. We commend these projects for your consideration.

Someone dies of hunger every 48 seconds in East Africa.

IMAGINE A CHILD EATING
1 BOWL OF RICE PER DAY.

Their family and local church struggle to yield crops for food through droughts and famine.
Running out of hope, they need sustainable solutions to survive.

We partner with Equipping Farmers International, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that teaches farmers how to feed themselves and their neighbors in Jesus’ name. Partnering with local churches, we teach farming principles that care for God’s creation and generate abundant harvests—along with the abundant life thatcomes through the gospel.

Higher education is financially out of reach
for many Christian students in the Global South.

IMAGINE A GIFTED STUDENT WHO IS NOT
ABLE TO ADVANCE THEIR EDUCATION.

Talented young believers cannot afford local university training. They miss out on opportunities, and struggle to stay hopeful.

ELI has established the Global Scholars’ Partnership to assist Christian students around the world who strive to serve Christ and their local communities through their callings in various disciplines.
